Welcome
We are a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Since we started the Lake Chelan affiliate in 1993, we have constructed ten homes in the Chelan Valley.
Volunteers provide most of the labor, the chosen family invests 500 hours and individual/business donors provide money and materials to build Habitat homes. We bring families in need together with volunteers and local resources to build decent, affordable housing. Please join us to help eliminate substandard housing in the Lake Chelan Valley.

Family Selection News
Lake Chelan Valley Habitat has selected two new families for the next two Habitat homes. This is the first time that LCV habitat have selected two families at once. The Erasmo De Jesus family will get the first house. They actually own their own property in Manson, and we will be building there. Erasmo's wife is named Honorina, and they have two children, Ivan, who was nine years old mid-summer when the applications were completed, and Evelyn, who was four years old then. Hector Avila Ceja and his wife Maria A. Hernandez de Avila will get the second house. It will be build after we complete the De Jesus home, and it will be located in Chelan Falls on property that habitat had previously purchased. They have three children. Manuel was eleven when we started the process, Alejandro was eight, and Deisy was three.
Habitat Store Dedication
Lake Chelan Valley Habitat for Humanity celebrated the dedication and grand opening of their new Thrift Store on Saturday, December 8th, 2007.
